Bio
Randall gained tremendous experience during his freshman season
in 2011, seeing action in six contests...comes into his second
season expected to see increased playing opportunities in Tech's
offensive line...listed second on the depth chart at left guard
behind all-star candidate Scott Schweitzer...benefitted from
playing behind the veteran, and showed promise...continued to make
a solid showing in the classroom in his first year, grabbing a spot
on the spring semester Athletic Director's Honor Roll.
AT TECH (In 2010): The transition from high
school standout to college football was smooth for Randall, who
stepped into a reserve role as a true freshman and saw action in
six contests in Tech's veteran offensive line.
HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time Birmingham All-Metro
selection and an honorable mention Alabama All-State player,
Randall was a three-year starter at center for coach David
Powell’s McAdory High School squad...voted permanent team
captain, Reeves graded out at 90 percent or better in every game
and had 62 pancake blocks as a senior...also earned three letters
on the McAdory baseball team... an outstanding student, he was
Birmingham News Scholar-Athlete of the Week and a member of the
Math Honor Society.
PERSONAL: The son of Randy and Susan Reeves...birthdate is April 14, 1992...full name is John Randall Reeves, Jr....enrolled in general curriculum.
