Tommie moved from inside linebacker to the Ram outside linebacker spot prior to spring drills in 2010 and showed a great grasp of his new role...played in all 11 games in 2010, including a starting assignment at Austin Peay...continued to show promise and development in the 2011 spring sessions, and comes into his junior season listed second on the depth chart among returnees...exhibits unlimited potential for the next two seasons...hard-nosed and physical...the more he learns about the system, the better he gets...type of player who will be hard to keep off the field...gained solid experience as a true freshman and added to that knowledge base as a sophomore.

AT TECH (In 2010): Called on to fill a backup role most of his second season, seeing action in all 11 games...was in the sstarting lineup for Tech's road victory at Austin Peay...inished the year with 24 total tackles...got to the ball carrier for tackles in 10 of the 11 games...season-high was four tackles, coming against both Southeast Missouri and UT Martin...had four tackles-for-loss and two quarterback sacks.

(In 2009): Tommie was on the field in 10 games as a true freshman...played in a backup role at inside linebacker...also saw action on special teams...made nine total tackles...had three tackles against Austin Peay.

HIGH SCHOOL: A three-year starter and a four-year Honor Roll student, Tommie received All-League honors as a junior and senior at Taft High School...as a junior, he made 65 tackles with seven quarterback sacks, one interception, one fumble forced and one fumble recovery...named first-team all-Southwest Ohio and the CMAC Defensive Player of the Year...also received all-city and honorable mention all-state honors...as a senior, he raised his totals with 136 total tackles, which ranked second in the state...had six quarterback sacks, caused four fumbles and recovered one...his career totals include 235 tackles and 17 quarterback sacks..also lettered one season on the basketball team.
