2020 (Sophomore): Dyer played in all 15 of Tech’s games, making 12 starts as the designated hitter and one at third base before the remainder of the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic… finished the year with a .152 batting average, .264 on-base percentage and .217 slugging percentage… totaled one double, one triple, three RBI and three runs scored… drew five walks and was hit by two pitches… posted season-highs of two hits and two RBI against Lipscomb (Mar. 11)… went 1-for-2 with an RBI double in the second game of a doubleheader against Bradley (Feb. 29).

2019 (Freshman): Dyer appeared in 53 of the team’s 54 games, making 48 starts between designated hitter, first base, and third base… recorded a batting average of .330, on base percentage of .420 and slugging percentage of .581… totaled 63 hits, 41 runs, 13 doubles, a triple, 11 home runs and 54 RBI… became just the second player in program history to earn multiple Freshman All-American honors (Kevin Strohschein) and the seventh total player in school history to earn the honor… led all OVC freshmen in doubles, home runs, RBI and slugging percentage and ranked in the top-three in on base percentage, batting average and hits… made his collegiate debut as the starting designated hitter in the season-opener against Western Illinois (Feb. 15)… gathered his first career hit and RBI in the second game of a doubleheader against Western Illinois (Feb. 16)… compiled a season-high four hits in three separate games, including contests against Eastern Illinois (Mar. 23), Alabama A&M (Apr. 16) and Morehead State (May 11)… clubbed his first career home run in a contest against SIUE (Mar. 8), driving in four runs… smashed a pair of dingers with a season-high seven RBI and four runs scored against Alabama A&M (Apr. 16)… tallied multiple doubles in two games… finished 3-for-5 with a home run and five RBI at eventual national champion Vanderbilt (Apr. 30)… drew a season-high three walks at Eastern Kentucky (May 3)… drove in three or more runs in seven games and multiple runs 13 times… compiled multiple hits in 16 contests, including three or more seven times… scored multiple runs in 11 games.

High School: Dyer earned three letters as a third baseman, first baseman, and pitcher for head coach Mark Purvis at Mt. Juliet High School… led MJHS to District 9AAA titles in 2016 and 2018… turned in a monster senior campaign, batting .434 with a .500 on-base percentage, 32 RBI and five dingers… hit .386 with a .513 on-base percentage with 21 RBI as a junior… also hit .299 with a .438 on-base percentage and 14 RBI in his sophomore season… earned 2018 Perfect Game Pre-Season All-Southeast Region honors and Perfect Game WWBA All-Tournament honors in both 2016 and 2017… in his senior season, was named District MVP and to the All-State Second Team… lettered for the MJHS bowling team as a senior for head coach George Ogilvie… earned All-District First Team honors while turning in a 192 average.
