2017 (Sophomore): Strohschein started all 66 games in right field… batted .292 while finishing in the top-25 in single-season program history in hits, home runs, RBI and runs scored… finished with 77 hits, 55 runs scored, 12 doubles, two triples, 14 home runs and 60 RBI… posted a .511 slugging percentage, .351 on base percentage and .984 fielding percentage… drove in a season-high five RBI at UNC Asheville (Mar. 21)… tallied a season-high three hits eight times, including five times over the final 12 games of the year… scored a season-best three runs in five contests, including the OVC Tournament title-clinching win over Belmont (May 27)… posted two home runs in a contest against Bradley (Feb. 24), his third career multi-home run contest… hit .462 over the final 13 games of the season… set the program’s single-season record for at bats with 264 on the year… joined A.J. Kirby-Jones as the only players to drive in 60+ runs in at least two seasons as a Golden Eagle… became just the third player in program history to post 14 or more home runs in at least two seasons (Zach Stephens – 3 times / A.J. Kirby-Jones 2 times)… joined an exclusive club as one of just four players in team history to score 55 or more runs at least twice (Chad Malone – 2 times / Zach Stephens – 2 times / Zach Zarzour – 2 times)… drove in at least four runs in four games and finished third on the team with 16 multi-RBI performances… also finished third on the team with 24 multi-hit contests… tied for the longest hitting streak of the season of 14 games... recorded six outfield assists while making just two errors in right field.

2016 (Freshman): Strohschein put together one of the most prolific seasons in Tech history, starting all 55 games in the outfield while becoming the first player in the 67-year history of the OVC to claim both Rookie of the Year and Player of the Year honors… hit .393 with 90 hits, 21 doubles, three triples, 15 home runs, 57 runs scored and 73 RBI… slugged .707 while posting a .447 on base percentage and .990 fielding percentage… set Tech’s freshman single-season records for hits, doubles, home runs, extra base hits, RBI, runs and total bases, breaking teammate Ryan Flick’s freshman record for RBI (2015) and Flick’s (2015), Zach Stephens’ (2011) and Matt Ballard’ (1989) freshman mark for home runs… finished third in single-season history in hits and RBI, fourth in extra base hits (39), seventh in doubles, eighth in home runs, 10th in slugging percentage, 14th in runs scored and 15th in batting average… ranked first in the OVC and second nationally in RBI per game (1.33), first and fourth in total RBI, first and sixth in total bases, second and sixth in slugging percentage, second and seventh in hits per game (1.64), and second, second and 16th in batting average, third and 20th in total hits and third and 32nd in doubles… hammered a grand slam in his first career plate appearance against Western Illinois (Feb. 19) in the season opener, finishing with five RBI, a home run and a double… tied the program single-season mark with three grand slams… tallied a school-record nine RBI and matched teammate David Garza with a program-best six hits in a 34-6 victory at Alabama A&M (Apr. 5)… also tied the school record with six runs scored while blasting his program-tying third grand slam of the year… kicked off a pivotal three-game OVC series against eventual league champion Southeast Missouri (May 6-8) a perfect 9-for-9 before a diving grab robbed him of a 10th straight hit… crushed a two-run, walk-off home run against Jacksonville State (Apr. 16), marking his first career multi-home run contest… also smack multiple long balls against Southeast Missouri (May 6)… drove in five or more RBI in six contests while tying for the team lead with 15 multi-RBI games… led Tech with 24 multi-hit performances, including five with four or more base knocks… put together a team-long 15-game hitting streak and also notched separate streaks of nine and 10 games… recorded five outfield assists while making just a single error while primarily playing right field… became the first Tech freshman to earn All-America honors and the first OVC player ever to earn a National Freshman Player of the Year award.

Summer Baseball: 2017 – became just the third Golden Eagle ever to play on the Cape Cod Baseball League, suiting up for the Orleans Firebirds and playing in 31 games… finished with a .244 average, 22 hits, four doubles, one home run, 10 runs scored, 11 RBI and four walks. 2016 - played summer ball for the Newport Gulls of the New England League… played in just eight games before ending his summer season early due to a minor injury… finished with a .194 average, six hits and two RBI in eight games.

High School: Strohschein played two seasons at Union Grove High School before lettering as a junior and senior for head coach Todd Shelnutt at George Walton Academy… hit .390 with seven home runs, eight doubles and 28 RBI in 24 games as a junior, posting a .762 slugging percentage and .452 on base percentage… named First-Team Southeast All-Region as a junior and senior… took home 2014 Perfect Game Underclass Preseason All-American Second Team honors, 2015 Perfect Game All-American Honorable Mention honors and 2015 Perfect Game All-Southeast Region Second Team honors.
