2015 (Junior): Usher made eight starts while appearing in 14 games in his first year with the Golden Eagles… completed 48.2 innings for a 4-0 record and 4.07 ERA… allowed 36 hits, 22 earned runs and 24 walks while punching out 59 batters for a strikeout per nine innings mark of 10.9… held opponents to just a .202 average… started as Tech’s Friday night pitcher in the team’s season-opener against Western Illinois (Feb. 19), but left due to injury… missed multiple weeks before returning to action out of the bullpen against Lipscomb (Mar. 8)… made six relief appearances prior to his return to the rotation at Eastern Illinois (Apr. 9)… tossed a season-high 7.2 innings at Belmont (May 14), striking out a season-best nine batters while walking two and allowing just a single earned run… allowed just three earned runs in six relief appearances, including none in his final four… fanned five or more batters in every start and lasted at least five innings in all but his first start… earned his first career victory at Little Rock (Apr. 30), in the second game of a doubleheader… fanned six in 5.1 innings in the contest… picked up wins in each of his final four starts of the year… threw over 100 pitches in five of his final six starts.

2015 (Sophomore – Walters State CC): Usher appeared in 21 games with 13 starts… posted 79.0 innings on his way to an 9-1 record and 2.80 ERA… allowed 64 hits, 23 earned runs and just 30 walks while striking out 89 batters for a strikeout per nine innings mark of 10.14… held opponents to a measly .217 average and finished with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage… threw a season-high 7.2 innings of shutout ball at Chattanooga State CC (Apr. 11), striking out seven and allowing just one hit on his way to a victory… followed up the performance with 7.0 innings on the hill, allowing zero earned runs and just two hits with eight strike outs and one walk at Jackson State CC (Apr. 18)… fanned a season-high 11 batters in 6.0 innings of work against Georgia Highlands CC (Mar. 24), allowing no runs and just two hits and one walk… tallied a six-out save in his first game of the year at USC Salkehatchie CC (Jan. 30), giving up just one hit… struck out four or more batters in 10 outings and tossed five or more innings in six contests… allowed zero earned runs in 11 appearances on the year... led WSCC to the East Central District title and NJCAA Region VII/TCCAA championship, as well as an appearance in the National Junior College World Series… his team finished 57-12 on the year and third overall in the nation… earned a win in his lone game started in the tournament, tossing 5.0 innings with five strikeouts against #18 McLennan CC (May 25).

2014 (Freshman – Walters State CC): Usher started two games while making 10 appearances… tossed 15.1 innings, allowing 27 hits, 14 earned runs and six walks while fanning 19 batters… compiled a 1-2 record with an 8.22 ERA… struck out a season-high five batters against Sinclair CC (Mar. 5), tossing a season-best 3.1 innings.

High School: Usher was a four-year letterwinner as a pitcher and shortstop for head coach Paul Lamm at Spring Hill High School… compiled a 9-1 record as a senior, striking out a whopping 91 batters… named district MVP as a junior and senior… as a senior, named a 2AA Player of the Year finalist… led his team to two state runner-up finishes.
