2023 (Sophomore – Salt Lake CC): Wallace did not compete for Salt Lake CC during the 2023 beach season.
2022 (Freshman – Salt Lake CC): Wallace competed in four of the team’s five matches, finishing 0-4 overall… competed in the No. 3 position in all four matches… made her debut in a tilt against Colorado Mesa (Mar. 11).
High School: Wallace was a two-year letterwinner at Mountain View High School in Orem, Utah, playing as a middle blocker for head volleyball coach Jaicee Roden and for head beach volleyball coach Jada Scott… earned 5A All-State Second Team and All-Region First Team honors in indoor competition in 2019… led MVHS to a 5A state title in the same season… guided Mountain View to back-to-back state championships in beach competition in 2019 and 2020.
Personal: Daughter of Daniel and Chalise Wallace… born in Grapevine, Texas on March 29, 2002… full name is Elena Jeanette Wallace… father, Daniel, played basketball at Midwestern State University in Flower Mound, Texas from 1997-98… aunt, Angie (Wallace) Staples, played basketball at BYU… uncle, Daniel Wallace, played basketball at Utah Valley State College (now Utah Valley University) from 1998-00… aunt, Hillary Wallace, played basketball at Utah Valley State College (now Utah Valley University) from 1999-01.

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – With the Ohio Valley Conference's announcement Tuesday of its 2023-24 Team Academic Achievement Awards, Tennessee Tech came away with one of the team honors as the Golden Eagle beach volleyball team was recognized for the highest percentage of its eligible student-athletes achieving a 3.25 grade point average or better. Beach volleyball had 10 players make the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll with Brooke Amann, Skylar Boom, Katie DiRaimondo, Madolyn Isringhausen, Emma Pabon, Bella Powell, Olivia Taylor, Elena Wallace, Jazmine Yamilkowski and McKenna Young all earning spots on the academic excellence list. DiRaimondo, Isringhausen, Taylor and Young also received the OVC Academic Medal of Honor with perfect 4.0 GPAs.
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Coming off a spectacular inaugural campaign in 2023, the Tennessee Tech beach volleyball team embarks on the 2024 opening weekend of competition, heading to Mount Berry, Ga. for the Berry Kick-Off running Friday, Feb. 23 through Saturday, Feb. 24.
