Bio

Jeff Bowe joins Tennessee Tech as the Director of Media Relations with 10-plus years of athletics communications experience in professional and collegiate athletics.

Most recently, Bowe served as the primary media relations and communications contact for the University of Arizona Football program and track and field programs, handling day-to-day communication responsibilities (2022-25). He helped promote quarterback Noah Fifita to FWAA Offensive Freshman of the Year Honors (2023) and wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan to a finalist selection for the Biletnikoff Award (2024).

Bowe served as the communications point of contact for two seasons in the Pac-12 and one season in the Big 12, following Arizona's transition before the 2024-25 athletic year. He helped promote the 2023 Arizona Football program that won 10 games for the fourth time in program history, including the Valero Alamo Bowl over Oklahoma. 

From 2021-22, he was the Director, Strategic Communication and Media Relations with the University of Nevada football and men's and women's golf programs. Providing all of the necessary communications services for an FBS football program and a DI Golf program.

Bowe served as the Assistant Athletic Director of Communication at Minot State University, a D-II University located in Minot, North Dakota, during the 2020-21 athletic year. He was the primary sports information contact for all 14 programs with a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) member. He joined the college communications profession in 2018 as Assistant Director, Sports Information with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. CMS Athletics is a highly prestigious NCAA Division III athletics department located in Claremont, California, serving in that role from 2018-20. 

Bowe graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in Communication Studies. While attending SJSU, he interned for the Spartans Athletic department from 2011-2012, performing multiple roles from Media Intern within the athletics department, working hand-in-hand with the sports information office, to Football Sideline Reporter on the Spartan Athletics flagship radio station
