Zach has joined the Tennessee Tech athletics marketing and corporate sales department in the position of marketing and promotions coordinator.

Ledbetter, a Cookeville, Tenn. native, makes the leap from the radio broadcast industry where he served as Director of Promotions and Digital Media. In that role, he directed marketing initiatives for four radio stations and a television station, and their respective digital media presence. He also hosted a daily on-air show and hosted many community events.

The transition will be an easy one for Ledbetter. In his former role, he worked closely with members of the Tennessee Tech community in athletics as well as student activities. Ledbetter has been involved with the Purple Pride Caravans, football, basketball and Dancin’ on Dixie for several years. He will now be involved in promotion of athletic events, game day management and community engagement.

An extreme community supporter, Ledbetter is involved with WCTE, Habitat for Humanity, TSSAA, CityScape’s Fall FunFest and Taste of the Town, and serves on executive boards for the Cookeville Police Department’s Citizen’s Academy and GLSEN Middle Tennessee. Living with a congenital heart disease all his life, he is an avid supporter of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and also St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Ledbetter is also a member of the Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association and Young Entertainment Professionals.

Ledbetter, son of Dale Ledbetter and Lisa Chaffin, currently resides in Cookeville, Tenn. with his dog, Murphy.
