Bio
Coming to Tech in 1967, Marynell Meadors established the women's basketball team in the 1970-71 season and the volleyball team in the 1975 campaign. While her stint as volleyball coach lasted just one season (a 25-15 record), her stay as basketball coach stretched for 16 years. Her teams never experienced a losing season, rolling up a 363-139 all-time record. She became the first coach in history to win 300 games at the same institution and was twice named the OVC Coach of the Year.
