Bio
Dr. William Francis lettered three times in football at Tech and was both vice-president and president of the student body before graduating in 1953. A captain of the football team, his contributions to Tech athletics increased since his injury-riddled days as a player. In 1978, Francis received the Humanitarian Award from the Cookeville Jaycees and a Distinguished Alumnus award from Tech.
