Bio
Tom Chilton was the first TTU Sports Hall of Fame inductee whose athletics letters were earned solely in the sport of track & field. As an outstanding long jumper, he won two OVC titles, a USTFF national individual championship, and was ranked as one of the world's 10 best jumpers. He coached the Tech track team from 1964-71.
