Going from the West Coast to the middle of the country to go
to school has been a huge transition for me. I'm a midfielder on
the Tech soccer team, so I'm always in the middle of things. I want
to share my journey with you and give you a look into the life of a
student-athlete who has to make a lot of adjustments for
college.

Hi everyone! Still busy with school work...doing well and enjoying it so far! My teachers have been really flexible about missing class and making up work. This previous weekend I was gone, as I got to go home for a day and a half! It was for my mom's wedding. It was great seeing my family even if it was for just a short time. And seeing my mom get married! I missed our home game sunday, but my girls pulled a WIN! YAAY :) I'm super excited in playing our first games of conference this weekend! We are going for more wins! We travel tomorrow, and leave at 3PM for a long 6&1/2 hour drive to Illinois! Ugh. Lol. Well bloggers, wish us TTU soccer gals luck this weekend! And my teammate Brooklyn Kimball says HI! :)

Hey everyone! Sorry I have not posted for a couple of weeks. With having practice every day, school and homework it gets a little hectic! Soccer practice has been very intense this week as we are going to win this weekend! Make sure to come out and cheer us on this Sunday at our home field!! My classes are going well, I enjoy all my professors and have been making more friends other than just my soccer team. Still getting used to the college atmosphere though, as it is so much different than high school. There are a bunch of activites happening every day here that I am not used to. From all the sorority and fraternity events, to the different clubs, and next week there is a B.O.B concert happening there! Which I will be attending :) Don't forget to support the women's soccer team Sunday! GO TECH!

Hey guys! Just got back last night from traveling to Asheville, North Carolina for our away games! We played ETSU Friday with a 2-1 victory and UNC-Asheville with a 4-1 win! It felt so weird traveling for only two games and it was nice having a hotel room and only sharing with one teammate! When we were in Asheville we got to walk the downtown with the team and do some shopping which is always fun. It was a very successful weekend I must say! And today was my first day of class in college and being a freshman and coming all the way from California, I was totally nervous. After only having two classes and both of them getting cut short, it wasn't so bad! I'm looking forward to my other classes!
