Hey Guys,
Last weekend we wrapped up our preseason play at the UT Chattanooga Country Inn and Suites Tournament where we played UNC Ashville, ETSU, and UT Chattanooga. We got a win against UTC in a five set match which was really exciting! The weekend was great preparation for conference play which we jump into this week. We open conference play this Tuesday at Jacksonville State, then on Friday we have first home match against UT Martin. These matches are crucial because we always want to start our conference schedule off with a win. I’m looking forward to these matches I think that we have a good chance of getting two more wins this week. I hope to see a lot of you at the match this Friday; it is always nice to see a lot of fans there to support us. Have a good rest of the week and hope to see you soon!

Hey Guys,
The volleyball team opened up our first weekend of play last weekend at the Georgia Tech Invitational. While there we faced the University of Louisville, Kansas State and Georgia Tech. Even though we didn’t end the weekend with any wins, we made a lot of improvement. We finally got the chance to measure our potential against a real opponent instead just scrimmaging each other. Our freshman got the chance to play in their first collegiate match and I think that they did a great job. After this weekend I am even more excited for the rest of the season. As long as we keep improving I think that we will have a great chance to compete for the OVC Championship! This coming weekend we’ll travel to Nashville to play Arkansas State, UNC Charlotte, and Lipscomb University. The weekend schedule is as follows: Friday at 12:30pm Lipscomb, 5:00pm Arkansas State, Saturday 12:00pm UNC Charlotte. Look for my next blog with more Matchpoints!
