a hand at Special Olympics
Last week, several Tennessee Tech student athletes were on hand at Tucker Stadium to help out at the Tennessee Special Olympics. The Golden Eagles handed out ribbons and supervised the events and games.
Basketball hosts local Girl Scouts
The Tennessee Tech women's basketball team had a chance to unwind and have a little fun Tuesday night with local Girl Scouts from surrounding counties.

Even though their 2012 season ended Sunday afternoon and they had no practice the following morning, the members of the Tennessee Tech soccer team passed on their first chance to sleep in in months to read stories to the students of Northeast Elementary School Monday morning.

Obstacle mud runs are endurance tests like no other, and the Tech softball team conquered the course in just over an hour last Saturday. A Habitat for Humanity fundraiser, the event allowed the Golden Eagles to bond and create memories to last a lifetime.
