Golden Eagles wrap up homestand against Jacksonville State

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. --- After splitting its first two matches of its three-match homestand, the Tennessee Tech volleyball team would like nothing better than to end its homestand a winning note Tuesday, as it welcomes in Jacksonville State, at 6 p.m.

The Gamecocks enter the week the owners of a 5-11 record and a 3-3 mark in Ohio Valley Conference play. JSU's 3-3 conference record puts it in seventh place in the OVC standings.

Jacksonville State currently leads the all-time series against Tech with an 11-8 record, but the Golden Eagles have faired better recently, winning three of the last four meetings against the Gamecocks.

JSU is led on offense by Stephanie Koontz, who leads the team in kills with 171. Abbey Heredia leads the Gamecocks in assists with 306, while Kelly Cole leads JSU in digs with 221.
