Frederike set an example on the women's team after acquiring the best GPA among the girls in her major of Interdisciplinary Studies. Her positive attitude on the court means a positive outlook on her contribution to the women's tennis team in the spring. Frederike shows an outstanding ability to serve and volley, giving Tech a competitive edge for the critical doubles point in the spring season. She went 3-1 in doubles in fall season competitions with partner Victoria Cran. Her strength and power on the court is a threatening attribute to Frederike Kahl's tennis career at Tech.

Before Tech: Fredrike Kahl attended high school at Gymnasium Shwazenbek and then attended two years at Christiian-Albrechts-University of Kiel, Germany before coming to Tech. In high school Fredrike competed in tennis, track and volleyball. Fredrike played 3rd Division volleyball and competed in tournaments such as the National Cup in Germany where her team placed 6th and the National Championship in Beach Volleyball.. In track Fredrike won many meets, including a Championship win at the region tournament. Fredrike also competed and had a lot of success in tournaments all over Germany.
