COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – With the Tennessee Tech soccer team back in the OVC Tournament for the first time since 2009, TTU alumni and fans are invited to join in on making it a tourney trip to remember. A staple in all Golden Eagle playoff runs, the Tech Athletics hospitality tent will make its triumphant return to postseason action, setting up near Cutchin Field, site of this year's tournament in Murray, Ky.
A gold TTU tent will be open two hours prior to each Golden Eagle match and will feature complimentary food and beverages for all fans to enjoy. The location of the tent will be in the parking lot in front of the Regents dorm off of Payne Street.
Having already secured a first round bye in the OVC Tournament, Tech begins its playoff journey on Friday, Nov. 6, locking up with Southeast Missouri at 11 a.m. CT. A victory would push the Golden Eagles to the championship, set for Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.
TTU is coming off one of its best regular seasons in program history after clinching its first overall winning record since 2004 with an 8-7-4 mark, going 6-3-1 in conference play. The six OVC victories are the most in school history, and Tech's second place finish is the best regular season ending since 2000.
Fans who are not able to get to the tournament can watch all the action free of charge via the OVC Digital Network. CLICK HERE TO WATCH.
