MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – It's the final event of the fall for the Tennessee Tech women's golf team, and the Golden Eagles look poised to finish things off with a strong showing at the MTSU Blue Raider Invitational.

Taking place at Old Fort Golf Course in Murfreesboro, the event will mark the fifth and final for the Golden Eagle squad in the 2013-14 fall season.

Fifteen teams will make up the field, including six OVC institutions and of course, in-state rival and tournament host, Middle Tennessee.

Here's an alphabetical look at the participating squads:

Arkansas State
Arkansas-Little Rock
Austin Peay
Belmont
Jacksonville State

Golden Eagle freshman Whitney Robertson has been on fire of late, grabbing back-to-back top 10 finishes in her previous two events. Robertson will lead the way for Tech as the team concludes its fall season.

"Closing out the fall with a trip to Murfreesboro will be a great way to end this semester," said head coach Polk Brown. "Playing in Middle's event will be a great challenge, and there is no doubt our team is up to the task. We have had some outstanding team and individual play throughout the fall, and I believe it will all come together this week."
