MURRAY, Ky. -- The Tennessee Tech women's golf team will get the
spring schedule underway Monday morning at the Murray State
Invitational. Tech is one of seven teams in the field, which will
play 18 holes Monday and 18 on Tuesday at the Miller Memorial Golf
Course.
First-year coach Brandy Stout will send a lineup onto the course
that includes seniors Maegan Sullivan and Madison Denman, juniors
Diana Carson and Megan Bradford, and sophomore Carley Rhyne.
Sophomore Lindsay Spradlen is also on the trip, and will compete in
the tournament as an individual.
The team arrived in town Sunday, but Saturday's snowfall forced a
cancellation of the Sunday practice round. The tournament is slated
to get underway with a shotgun start Monday at 8 a.m.
In addition to host Murray State and Tennessee Tech, the field also
includes teams from Austin Peay, Western Kentucky, IPFW,
SIU-Edwardsville and the University of the Cumberlands.
Results will be posted each evening on TTUsports.com.
