High School: Quira comes to Tech from Millwood High School where she played forward on the basketball team under Coach Arnelia Spears… named All-State for two years… led her team to the State Championship where she was awarded with the MVP Award… contributed to the team’s 2012 championship victory and was selected to play in the post-season All-State games… led her team to four district championships, four regional championships, three area championships, and one state championship… averaged 15 points per game and rebounds per game… showed excellent work in the classroom earning her the President’s Award and Principal’s Award… was a member of the National Honor Society.
