Terry Acheson is in her 12th season on the Golden Eagle coaching staff and her 27th season in coaching.
She brought 16 successful years of coaching experience to the Golden Eagles, including nine seasons on the high school level and seven seasons at Wisconsin-Parkside, when she came to Tech in 1998 with her husband, head coach Tory Acheson.
She is a 1982 graduate of Carroll (Wisc.) College with a degree in health and physical education. Terry works primarily with Tech’s infielders, as well as handling the administration of the softball program, including coordinating camps and clinics.
The couple has one son, Chuck, who is in his fifth year at Tennessee Tech and has served as a manager and volunteer coach with the women’s soccer team since 2005.
