In 2011 (Freshman): Tyler's blazing speed was an asset to the Golden Eagles, as she was utilized mainly as a pinch-runner...she scored 12 of the 24 times she was put in as a runner...scored in 4 of 5 games from 4/20-4/30...named to the OVC Commissioner's and TTU Athletic Director's Honor Rolls.

(High School): A two-sport letterwinner at Etowah High School, Tyler was a standout athlete in softball and tennis…while playing center field she was named all-county as a freshman and all-region as a junior…received both of those honors last fall as a senior while helping he squad capture the regional championship in 2009…named a Scholar-Athlete and best geometry student.
