COOKEVILLE, Tenn. — For serious softball players, Tennessee Tech will be hosting a two-day Holiday Mini Camp on Dec. 29-30 designed to give campers a concentrated dose of softball instruction. The pace will be quick, and all aspects of the game will be covered.

Instruction will feature individual and small group work to develop skills for athletes of all ages. Athletes will be grouped according to age and ability level throughout the course of the Mini Camp.

General instruction will be given in all fundamental areas including hitting, bunting, base running, etc. Special emphasis will be given to individual position instruction, which will include pitching instruction for the pitchers at the Mini Camp.

Contests and other fun things will be included in the schedule, but the Mini Camp is designed for the serious player looking to get better.

The cost of the camp is $70 before Dec. 23, and $80 at the door. Participants should bring a glove, cleats, tennis shoes, a sweatshirt, a bat (optional), water bottle, lunch and enthusiasm. Family and team discounts are available, and each camper will receive a T-shirt.
