In 2009 (Freshman): Erin played in 32 games
while starting nine in her first season with the Golden
Eagles...mainly used as a base-running specialist, she scored five
runs on the year...made 22 plate appearances and had three
hits...went 1-for-4 with two runs scored against Belmont
(4/14)...was 1-for-2 with a run scored against Tennessee Wesleyan
(3/19)...earned spots on both the OVC Commissioner’s Honor
Roll and Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
High School: Erin was a two sport athlete while at North
Cobb Christian School...lettered all four years in softball for
coaches Kenny Manis and Greg Hight...also lettered two years on the
cross-country team for coach Mike Corbett...won several awards
during her senior season and was named Best Defensive Player, MVP,
all-region and all-state during her last season at North Cobb
Christian...batted .436 with 28 RBIs and a home run during her
career.
