Extended version of Watson Brown Show Profile: Ladarius Vanlier

By Jocelyn VerVelde, TTU Sports Information Coordinator

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee Tech football players are highlighted during a two-minute Player Profile segment on each Watson Brown Show this season. If that's not enough, extended versions are also avaible on the Tech Athletics YouTube channel after The Watson Brown Show airs.

Sophomore Ladarius Vanlier shares his story and personality with viewers this week. Vanlier quickly proved to be more than just a reliable ball carrier for the Golden Eagles, but an explosive weapon both for the offense and the special teams. He ranked among OVC leaders and first on the team in kick return average and all-purpose yards during the 2012 season. Vanlier is considered a real triple threat as a rusher, receiver and returner, and earned preseason all-OVC recognition from College Sports Madness because of his particular set of skills. He was also listed on the College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) Watch List of top FCS return men entering 2013, and so far has not disappointed.

Each week a different football student-athlete will be highlighted and the extended version (below) of the interview will be avaliable on YouTube.
