Watson Brown morning guest Tuesday on Nashville-area radio sports talk show

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee Tech football coach Watson Brown will be a featured guest early Tuesday morning on a popular Nashville radio program, The Wake Up Zone on 104.5 The Zone.

Brown will join program hosts Mark Howard, Frank Wycheck and Kevin Ingram on the program at about 7:30 a.m. CT.

Brown's Golden Eagles are coming off a 21-14 road win at Jacksonville State last Saturday, and are preparig to host Murray State on Saturday for Tech's annual Homecoming game. The Golden Eagles are currently ranked 15th nationally in the FCS Coach's Poll and 20th in The Sports Network/Fathead.com FCS poll. Winners of five of their last six games, Tech is 5-2 overall and tied for first place in the Ohio Valley Conference with a 4-1 league record.

Brown, a Cookeville native, made a name for himself as a star quarterback at Vanderbilt University. He went on to serve as head coach of the Nashville school, and is a familiar name and popular speaker in-and-around the Nashville area. He is currently in his fifth season as head coach at Tennessee Tech.
