While Ben has switched schools and positions, one thing has been constant during his three years at Tech -- he has been a regular on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll all six semesters...on schedule to graduate in December...originally attended Harding University in Arkansas during his first collegiate year and was a redshirt member of the football team...transferred to Tech for the 2008-09 academic year...sat out the 2008 season due to transfer rules, and was on the field during 2009 spring drills...lined up at the "Anchor" position in the defensive line his first year, then made the move across the line of scrimmage last year to work at offensive guard...saw action in one game, and made another move during the most recent spring drills to center...heads into fall camp listed second on the depth chart among returnees...has shown increases in both his strength and his size...has shown ability to learn each of his new positions, and should see playing time this season.
AT TECH (In 2010): Moved to an offensive guard
position, where he worked hard to learn his new role...saw action
in one game.
(In 2009): On the Golden Eagle roster, Ben did not see any playing time.

AT HARDING (In 2007): Ben was on the roster at Harding and sat out his first collegiate season as a redshirt.
