After playing his first season at tight end, DaJuan moved across the line of scrimmage for spring ball and will play in the defensive line in 2011 at the "Rock" position...played both of those positions during his stellar high school career, so the move to defense came easy...a strong player with excellent sense for the game...has increased both his size and his strength during his time on campus, and continued to develop in the off-season...helps bolster a defensive line with several new faces expected to see playing time in 2011...was listed on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll during the fall semester.

AT TECH (In 2010):
DaJuan saw action in 10 games as a tight end...had one catch, hauling in a pass at Murray State and rambling 25 yards for a first down against the Racers...was called on for his strength as a blocker.

HIGH SCHOOL: DaJuan Brown earned three letters while playing on both sides of scrimmage for coach Phillip Shadowens at Blackman High School, in addition to a couple of letters on the basketball court...a three-year starter in the defensive line as well as tight end, Brown was named all-region and all-county, and was voted the team’s Most Valuable Lineman...as a senior, he finished the year with 58 total tackles including six quarterback sacks and five tackles-for-loss as the Blaze posted a 9-1 regular season record and captured the District 7AAA championship...Blackman finished the year with a 10-2 mark, reaching the second round of the TSSAA playoffs, and were ranked No. 3 in the state.
