Looking forward to having an impact in his first season on the Golden Eagle roster last fall, Chris saw action in two games but suffered an injury that sidelined him for much of the 2009 campaign and entire 2010 spring workouts...transfer from Middle Tennessee State in January 2009 and has been in the Tech camp for two rounds of spring drills...was a 2008 season redshirt at MTSU...showed promise during his first spring work for the Golden Eagles in 2009...made the move from free safety to rover...hoping to return to action and add depth to the secondary in 2010.

AT TECH (In 2009): Chris lined up at free safety in his first season in purple and gold and saw action in two games...made two tackles in his TTU debut against Pikeville...also played against Austin Peay...injury put him out of action for balance of season and all of 2010 spring work.

AT MTSU (In 2008): Was on the Blue Raider roster as a true freshman and sat out the season as a redshirt.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2007 graduate of Hunters Lane High School...played a dual role for coach Dennis Moreno at Hunters Lane, lining up at outside linebacker and fullback...named all-state and all-region...won the team's Hard Hitter Award...as a senior, he recorded 155 total tackles, with five quarterback sacks and two interceptions...ranked in the state Top 10 for tackles...his tackle totals climbed every year, from 35 as a freshman to 56 as a sophomore and 96 in his junior season.
