READY TO ROLL

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- When the Tennessee Tech football team heads out on the road this fall, there will be no doubt that the Golden Eagles are in the house, thanks to Ottis Phillips and Don Gentry.

A former standout fullback for the Golden Eagles, Phillips is the president of SEC Enterprises in Cookeville. Through Phillips' efforts, Miller Lite and SEC Enterprises have donated the use of a large equipment truck for use by the Tech Athletics Department.

Gentry will make sure that the equipment gets there safely and on time. He's volunteering his time to drive the rig, beginning with the journey to Louisville this weekend as the Golden Eagles face the Cardinals Saturday afternoon.

"We are so fortunate that Ottis and Don are supporting Tennessee Tech Athletics in this way," said Mark Wilson, TTU Director of Athletics. "They have been good friends to Athletics, and providing a truck and driving it to the away events will be a tremendous benefit to our teams and our staffs."
