Golden Eagle baseball to host fall Elite Baseball Camp
COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Over the next few weeks, Tennessee Tech's
baseball staff will host the Golden Eagle Elite Baseball Camp, a
pair of one-day events that is designed for the serious ball player
between the ages of 16 and 18.
This year's options for camp dates fall on Sept. 15 and Sept.
22 and will run throughout the day.
Held at the Howell W. Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball
Complex on campus, camp participants will participate in drills and
games led by the TTU coaching staff and discuss topics such as NCAA
Division I recruiting rules and college baseball in general.
"Our goal of this camp is simply to stress the fundamentals of
baseball, and to help each player in different phases of the game,"
said head coach Matt Bragga. "We will also stress the importance of
positive mental and emotional attitudes, which are not only
beneficial to athletes, but are conducive to success in all walks
of life."
Space is limited, so interested players are encouraged to enroll
quickly. The cost of the camp is $70, which covers the use of
athletic equipment and facilities, lunch, and insurance.
For further camp information, contact coach Brandon Turner (931)
372-6546 or coach Larry Bragga at (931) 372-3853. Or by email
which is preferred (bmturner@tntech.edu)

is operated by coaches of Tennessee Tech. Although the camp may be
held on the campus of Tennessee Tech, it is not owned or operated
by the University.
