Championship series to be broadcast free on OVC Digital Network

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- The Tennessee Tech baseball team faces its most crucial series of the season this weekend, hosting Belmont to determine the Ohio Valley Conference championship. Fans who cannot attend in person will still be able to enjoy the sights and sounds of the game live and free on OVCDigitalNetwork.com.

The broadcasts, produced by Brandon Goodwin and directed by Matthew Wagner and Andrew Neff, are scheduled to begin five minutes before each game on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Goodwin, who has called the play-by-play for each of Tech's broadcasts this year, will be joined in the booth by the longtime voice of the Golden Eagles, Roger Ealey. Tech students and staff members will also provide support for the broadcasts, which are expected to be some of the most-viewed events on the OVC Digital Netwok this spring.

Fans can find the games by visiting OVCDigitalNetwork.com and looking for Tennessee Tech vs. Belmont on the Live Events page. The free broadcasts are provided by Tech Athletics and the Ohio Valley Conference.

Viewers (from both sides) are encouraged to interact with the broadcasts by emailing questions and comments to bgoodwin@tntech.edu or tweeting to @TTUGoldenEagles throughout the games.

Admission is free to attend the games in Bush Stadium at the Averitt Express Baseball Complex on the Tech campus.
