COOKEVILLE, Tenn. --- Stephen Pryor and Ryan Dennick both earned promotions last week as Pryor got called up to the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers, while Dennick moved up to the Double-A Northwest Arkansas Naturals.
Pryor, who last pitched for the Golden Eagles back in 2010, earned his promotion after posting seven saves for the Jackson Generals.
Dennick, who last played for the Golden Eagles in 2009, won two games for the Single-A Wilmington Blue Rocks before getting called up to the Naturals.
Tech currently has five player in the minor leagues, with one in Triple-A, two in Double-A and two in advanced Single-A. All five players played for the Golden Eagles as recently as 2009.
Stephen Pryor – Tacoma Rainiers (Triple-A, Seattle Mariners)
Since joining the Rainiers, Pryor has been lights out having thrown four shutout innings in relief, while striking out seven batters as opposed to just one hit and two walks given up. Through 14 minor league games this season, Pryor has posted a 0.90 ERA and has struck out 37 batters, while recording seven saves and one win.

Ryan Dennick – Northwest Arkansas Naturals (Double-A, Kansas City Royals)
Dennick has thrown 1.1 innings for the Naturals since getting called up. Before moving up to Double-A, Dennick earned two wins for the Wilmington Blue Rocks, while recording 17 strikeouts.

Adam Liberatore – Montgomery Biscuits (Double-A, Tampa Bay Rays)
Over the last week, Liberatore has thrown one shutout inning against the Chattanooga Lookouts and the Jacksonville Suns. He currently boasts a 2.76 ERA on the season and has struck out seven batters on the season.

A.J. Kirby-Jones – Stockton Ports (Single-A, Oakland A's)
Kirby-Jones has posted three hits in his last five games for the Ports, including a home run against the Modesto Nuts for his fifth home run of the season. He is currently second on the team with five home runs and 18 RBIs.

Chad Oberacker – Stockton Ports (Single-A, Oakland A's)
Oberacker has posted eight hits in his last five games for the Ports, including a three-game stretch where he tallied two hits in each game. He recorded his first home run for the Ports against the Modesto Nuts. Since his promotion, Oberacker has posted a .273 batting average with nine hits, one home run and three stolen bases.
