Lon Morris College: Wilson excelled both on the field and in the classroom...while enrolled at Lon Morris, Wilson threw 65 innings, posting a 9-4 record, with a 3.50 ERA....in 2010, he struck out 22 batters in 30 innings pitched and threw one complete game.

Lumberton High School: While attending Lumberton (Tex.) High School, Wilson earned four letters in baseball and two in football and was named to the National Honor Society.
