Purple Pride Caravan reaches Crossville; Only two remaining

CROSSVILLE, Tenn. - Crossville played host Thursday to the latest Purple Pride Caravan, and area fans enjoyed perfect conditions, fellowship and plenty of hot dogs and Pepsi while spending time with some Tennessee Tech coaches and student-athletes. The Golden Eagle volleyball team took a break from fall practice to spend the day in Cumberland County, along with their coach Dave Zelenock and baseball coach Matt Bragga.

Golden Eagle fans came from all over the community to enjoy the event and pick up some Tech memorabilia while jamming to tunes provided by 98.5 Kiss FM.

Four lucky fans won drawings and received Tennessee Tech memorabilia, and one person qualified for the drawing to win a trip for two to the Tech-Northern Iowa football game in the Golden Eagle Flyaway, sponsored by 98.5 Kiss FM.

After already making stops in Jamestown, Smithville, Cookeville, Carthage, Livingston, McMinnville, and now Crossville, the Purple Pride Caravan has only two more stops including another in Cookeville before wrapping up at the Algood Walmart on Tuesday, Aug. 26, just two days before the Golden Eagle season opener in Tucker Stadium on Thursday, Aug. 28.
