SAAC participates in judging panel for Dodson Branch Elementary

Members of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee played the role of judge for Dodson Branch Elementary. DBE students created projects for Habitat for Humanity.

 

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Members of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee played the role of judge for Dodson Branch Elementary. DBE students created projects for Habitat for Humanity. 

The softball SAAC representatives walked the halls of Dodson Branch Elementary looking over students projects which were created for the Habitat for Humanity organization. Students created habitats inside shoeboxes and were judged on creativity and accuracy. 

SAAC is a group of Tech student-athletes participates in community service activities. SAAC facilitates the opportunities for Tech's student-athletes to participate in community service projects to promote a positive image of the athletic department.
