Athletic Director's Honor Roll lists 191 for Spring semester
Once again Tennessee Tech’s student-athletes have recorded a successful semester in the classroom. The A.D. Honor Roll for the 2012 spring semester features 191 names of students in athletics who achieved grades of 3.0 or higher for the semester.

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Once again Tennessee Tech’s
student-athletes have recorded another successful semester in the
classroom. The Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2012
spring semester features 191 names of students in athletics who
achieved grades of 3.0 or higher for the semester.
The exclusive Gold Club, recognizing those students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average, had 36 honorees.
The Honor Roll has been around the 200 mark for 10 consecutive semesters, including topping that plateau four times.
“It’s remarkable that our student-athletes have achieved this high level of success for so many semesters,” said Mark Wilson, TTU Director of Athletics.
“These impressive numbers are a tribute to our student-athletes, our coaches and our staff for making academics such a high priority. Each of these young women and men are doing an outstanding job representing Tennessee Tech.
“Not only are these results something to be proud of, it’s especially gratifying that it happens on a consistent basis,” Wilson added.

“Everyone within the athletics department, as well as all throughout the campus community, can be extremely proud of the student-athletes at Tennessee Tech as they continue to set high standards in the classroom,” Wilson said. “They are students in the truest sense of the word.”
