Kim Nash came to the Tech Athletics Department in 2004 from across campus in Photo Services, and currently is in a position as Administrative Associate to the Athletics Director. In her role, in addition to providing assistance to Director of Athletics Mark Wilson, she also handles numerous other tasks including all departmental travel, game contracts and additional financial responsibilities.

A native of nearby Baxter, Tenn., she attended Upperman High School before enrolling at Tennessee Tech to study education and business. In 1996, she took a position in Photo Services, a post she held until joining Athletics.

Among her job responsibilities are working at most athletics events in a variety of roles, including home football and basketball games and the Bobby Nichols Scramble. She also coordinates several special events for the A.D., and prepares the Athletics Annual Report and the Coordinates the Athletics Strategic Plan.

Besides time spent on the job, Kim also puts in numerous hours as a volunteer for several community activities, and served previously on the Board of Directors for the Putnam County Clearinghouse. She also volunteers regularly in the nursery at Nash Grove Baptist Church.

Kim and her husband, Perry, have been married 30 years and have two grown children, Emily and Daniel. They are the proud grandparents of four -- Jordan, Caleb, Allie Grace and Lily.
