A Cookeville native and former Tennessee Tech student, Matt Dexter, 22, enters his third year on the Golden Eagle Athletics Staff, working as an intern in Facilities.

Dexter attended Monterey High School where he was a four-year letterman in both basketball and golf for the Wildcats.

Dexter works as the Event Manager for soccer, baseball and softball, as well as assisting in all game management for Tech's home basketball and football games. He also assists in maintaining all of Tech's athletic facilities. During the fall, Dexter is involved in coordinating the popular Purple Pride Caravans, and in the summer he works in conducting the Bobby Nichols Scramble.
